About Greg

A relational architect, not a platform-builder.

01

I grew up without a father. I still don't know him today.

By every statistic, my life should have gone in a different direction. I grew up in San Diego carrying shame, fatherlessness and many other labels that told me my future was already written — and not in my favor.

I found an outlet in basketball. I was good enough to play professionally overseas, and for a while, that felt like enough. Then the career ended. And without the game, I found myself working overnight security, feeling completely lost — empty in a way I couldn't explain and didn't know how to fix.

One night at work, in a parking lot, God met me.

I was sitting alone, watching a church service online when the Holy Spirit showed up — and everything changed. I started crying uncontrollably as the Holy Spirit began healing me of all the lies I believed as a kid. At that moment, I surrendered and decided to give my life to Jesus.

I eventually moved to San Diego with my wife to follow God's call, began serving in the church that had led me to salvation, and for the first time in my life, I began to understand who I was and why I was here. I didn't find a religion. I found a Father.

The fact that I'm here — not in jail, not on drugs, not lost — is not luck. It's a clear indicator that no obstacle, no absence, and no past is bigger than the God who calls you by name. I share that story everywhere I go because people need to know: if God can do it for me, He can do it for you.

That transformation became my assignment.

Today I serve as a sports chaplain, walk alongside elite professional athletes, pastor men at Faith Chapel Church in San Diego, minister to military men and women, and leaders across different industries. I've traveled internationally, speaking to multigenerational and multicultural audiences who are hungry to know God, be transformed, and live from that place.

The word God gave me for this season is optimization — steward well what's in front of you and what has been entrusted to you. He's been placing me in rooms with world-changers, leaders, and people of influence who have a hunger for God but haven't always had someone who could help them go deeper without using them or misunderstanding where they are.

I call myself a relational architect. Not a performer. Not a platform-builder. Someone who helps people grow in their relationship with God and others.

My goal has never been for you to need me. It's for you to need more of God and his core values.

I can't be hungry for you. But I can show you what's possible when you are.
